TAKING STUT OUTSIDE
I started modeling at 15. By 16, I was flying to New York to build my portfolio - a girl from Friesland, alone in the city, with no real guidance on how the industry actually worked. I saw what the industry lacked: support, structure and care. And maintaining the body standards the industry demanded wasn’t realistic or sustainable for me.
So I stepped away. I studied, got my Bachelor in Leisure & Event Management, and spent years producing B2B events for clients like Nike and Microsoft, alongside large-scale public events. I learned how to run professional production.
In 2022, I started STUT Agency. The name comes from the Dutch word "stutten" - to provide structural support. I wanted to fill the gap I felt when I was younger. Build the support system that didn't exist when I needed it.
The vision shifted as I kept going, taking every opportunity that came my way. That's how I operate - I jump into the deep end and figure it out. A year after starting STUT, I opened a studio at NDSM Amsterdam. Levi and Donna from Studio Chunk joined, and now we run the space together.
Studio rental. Photoshoot production. PR event production.
At the core, we still support models and creatives. But some stories don't belong indoors.
WHY OUTDOOR CONTENT NEEDS BETTER PRODUCTION
Here's what I know from a decade on professional fashion sets: the difference between good content and great content is production standards.
It's not just "take a camera to a mountain and shoot." It's creative direction. It's understanding how to style a shot so the product stands out without looking forced. It's knowing the difference between influencer content and brand assets that actually work.
Most outdoor content is created by solo creators or small teams winging it. That works for social media. It doesn't work when you need 15-20 assets that represent your brand at the level your product deserves.
Fashion production taught me: high-end means bold, unique, one of a kind. No generic Instagram aesthetics. No "we shot this on a hike" energy. Just clean, professional work that makes people stop scrolling.
That's what STUT does indoors. Now we're taking it outside.
EXPEDITION KOSOVO: Q1 2026
First stop: Kosovo.
One of Europe's best-kept secrets - though Dua Lipa is doing her best to change that. The Accursed Mountains. Pristine backcountry. Dramatic peaks. Untouched locations, raw landscapes, authentic culture.
Here's why Kosovo works:
Visual differentiation. These aren't the oversaturated Iceland shots every outdoor brand is using. This is territory that hasn't been Instagram'd to death. Your content won't look like everyone else's because the location itself is undiscovered.
Insider access. I have friends & family in Kosovo. That means local connections you can't replicate - access to locations, talent, and cultural authenticity that an outside production team would never get.
Cost efficiency. Kosovo delivers the dramatic mountain visuals at a fraction of what you'd pay for similar production in Norway, Iceland, or the Alps.
THE MODEL: MULTI-BRAND COLLABORATION
This is a pilot for a new way of working.
Instead of each brand funding a solo expedition, we're bringing 4-6 outdoor and lifestyle brands together. You share production costs. You each get one full shoot day with professional photo + video. 15-20 high-quality assets tailored to your brand.
This isn't just about making it cheaper - though it does that. It's about building long-term collaboration. Brands that join this pilot are laying the groundwork for ongoing partnership with STUT. High quality, strategic content production, potential to grow together from here.
You get creative input. We lead the direction. Professional crew, fashion production standards, no influencer bullshit.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Outdoor brands. Lifestyle brands. Sustainable fashion. Activewear. Anyone building a brand that deserves better content than what you're currently getting from solo creators or generic production houses.
If you're tired of content that looks like everyone else's, this is for you.
If you want bold, unique assets that actually represent what your brand stands for, this is for you.
If you're ready to try a collaborative model instead of doing everything solo, this is for you.
TIMELINE
Q1 2026 production dates are confirmed. Professional crew is being locked in. We're finalizing the brand lineup now.
Commitment deadline: February 8, 2026.
Why the deadline? Because we need to book crew, confirm accommodation logistics, and finalize the shoot schedule based on confirmed brands. We also need product shipment by February 11, 2026 to ensure everything arrives in Kosovo on time.
We have 2 more spots available.
LET'S TALK

We're building this in real time. If you want to be part of the pilot that proves this model works, now's the time.
DECEMBER DEBRIEF: THE END OF FIGURING IT OUT
It All Begins Here
WHY THIS BLOG EXISTS
I'm not starting this blog to document the beginning of STUT Agency. We've been building for a while now - testing models, forming partnerships, figuring out what works and what doesn't.
This blog starts now because that phase is over.
The past few years were about exploration. Working with different brands, trying different formats, understanding what STUT could actually be. That was necessary. But it's not strategic.
What you'll read here is different. This is about execution with direction. Every month I'll share what we're building, how we're thinking about it, and why we're making specific strategic bets. Not the polished case studies - the actual decisions, the pivots, the reasoning behind the work.
This isn't just transparency for its own sake. It's a demonstration of how STUT thinks and operates. If you're a brand or creative considering working with us, this is how you'll understand what we're actually building and whether it aligns with what you need.
STUT is being built with Studio Chunk, Britt from June 5th, and every brand and creative who believes in collaborative work over toxic competition. As the founder, I'll share the strategic perspective - but make no mistake, this is a team effort.
Let's start with where we are in December.
THE SHIFT
December was about drawing a line. On one side: the testing phase. On the other: strategic execution.
The realization was simple but critical - effort without clear goals isn't just ineffective, it's exhausting. I was working on projects because they seemed like good ideas, not because they served a specific strategic purpose. That had to change.
I'm a goal-oriented person. I operate better with clear targets and measurable outcomes. For too long I avoided that structure because it felt too corporate. But structure isn't the enemy of creativity - lack of direction is.
So we got clear on three things:
What STUT actually is: Studio space, project management, and content production for brands who care about doing good work. Not any work - good work.
What we're building toward: A model where brands collaborate instead of compete. Where content production is shared, strategic, and actually sustainable.
What success looks like: Recurring revenue from studio operations. Strategic partnerships with sustainable and outdoor brands. Projects that prove the collaborative model works.
It didn't change everything, but it did allow me to focus and use my energy on things I'm actually good at and enjoy doing.
WHAT'S WORKING
Our studio partnership with Studio Chunk is clear and they've moved in for 80%. There are still some tweaks we want to make to improve things over Q1 2026. Britt from June 5th is still installing her corner - that's not final yet, but it's progressing.
This is a clear new starting point. We're in execution mode now, but we're still building. Both things can be true.
WHAT COMES NEXT
Now that we've clarified what STUT is and what we stand for, we can focus on the work that actually demonstrates those values.
We're working on a project for Q1 2026 that embodies everything STUT believes in: collaboration over competition, strategic content production, and brands working together to create something better than they could alone.
It's a multi-brand content expedition. Mountains, outdoor adventure, culture, city life. A pilot program where sustainable and outdoor brands share resources and costs while each getting unique, high-quality content tailored to their needs.
This project is the perfect case study for how we think content production should work. Not transactional. Not isolated. Collaborative and strategic.
I'll share more details in the next post - what the expedition actually is, where we're going, and why we're betting on this model.
THE STRATEGIC REALITY
STUT is built on specific partnerships and strategic bets. Studio Chunk is foundational to our operations. Britt from June 5th brings her craft and approach into our space. These collaborations aren't side projects - they're core to what makes STUT function.
The expedition is our bet on a new model. The studio is our infrastructure. The partnerships are our foundation.
Some of these will work exactly as planned. Some won't. But we're operating with direction now, not just reacting to opportunities.
This blog exists to show that process. Not to prove we have it all figured out, but to demonstrate that we're executing strategically and moving fast.
Next post: I'll break down the expedition in detail - what it is, why we're betting on it, and how we're building a new model for brand collaboration.
If you're a brand thinking about content strategy, or a creative looking for collaborative work that actually matters, let's talk.
